Giffords In Pocatello (Day 9)

So we drove up the afternoon after Christmas to Idaho to spend time with my Dad's side of the family. It took us so long to get up there we didn't really get to hang out with everyone until the following day. It was so much fun to see everyone and to have most of us there.

The Namesake's Family
We have called my brother Ian the Namesake since he is the only Gifford boy to carry on the Lavaughn Gifford (my Grandpa Gifford) name. Ian has done his job of having a son and now Sean will be called the Namesake.

Day After Christmas , Family Pictures(Day 8)

The day after Christmas was the big family photo shoot. It went surprisingly well with the amount of people that we had in that little room. Once I have the pictures scanned to my computer I will put them on here because seriously they are just that spectacular! But here are some random shots from the day before and after the professional pics.

After we took family pictures we went back to the church to eat and clean up the room we used for Christmas Eve. Justin just stuffed something in his mouth and was being silly.

We were taking down the Christmas tree and decorated AJ instead. He was a good sport.

After the clean up was done we got our rental car and went to Pocatello, Idaho to see my Grandma Gifford, Dad and Patty, and kids. It might not of been the best idea to drive that day, it took us 6.5 hours instead of 3.5 hours to get to Pocatello. The roads were pretty icy from the massive snow storm the day before in SLC and Ogden but we made it and only had a few issues...Rachel's windshield wipers not working, tired kids, fish tailing, tired kids, frozen wipers, did I mention tired kids cause we had 2 tired kids. But it was awesome to see everyone up in Idaho and we are so glad that we got to go. Next post will be the pictures of Idaho! Wahoo!

The Cutest Bath Towels in the World

Okay I am going to take a break from all the pictures from my vacation and post about the cutest bath towels in the world. My bestest friend from SVC Sarah Anne (Kirby) Plamer started a store where she makes these adorable bath towels for kids.

Christmas Day consists of Presents, Igloo, and Feet (Day 7)

Seriously why do parents take so many pictures of their kiddos? Is it because we want to capture every moment and remember them forever? Perhaps so. I took way too many pictures on Christmas day of my kiddos, I will spare you and not upload all of them. But here are probably more then you wanted to see...it's for my posterity anyway.

So there was a whole bunch of snow in Utah and it snowed even more on Christmas Day....well, what do you do with all that snow? You make an igloo of course. Justin was in heaven. He loves the snow and would of slept outside in the igloo if someone, anyone, would of joined him.

This igloo was huge...Mark is 6'5" and could lie down comfortably inside. He couldn't stand up all the way but he had room to move around.
