Organ Stop Pizza Video 1

Okay here is the promised video of the guy playing the organ at Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa, Arizona. It was pretty cool. You will notice that the organ and it's player start to go into the ground, they are taking a 15 minute break.

Babysitting

Over the weekend James and Justin went on a father and son campout with our ward. I had an empty night with just Sariah and I...we decided to babysit my favorite kiddos. I love these kids so much. They have so much love and energy to give.
The oldest gives me a hug every time I see her no matter where we are at and she just loves to hang around me. The youngest reminds me a whole bunch of my little Sariah and what she will be like in 7 months. They are really so much alike it's funny at times to watch them interact. The middle guy is very loveable and likes things just so. He was in such an awesome mood when I was babysitting and I love his precious smile. These kiddos seriously made my evening so nice and I loved playing with them and the camera. I captured some awesome pics and the oldest gal got some great ones as well.

Miss T got this picture of me and I loved it. You can tell that I am having a blast with these kids.

Miss T also got a great picture with me and the other 3. I wish she could be in this picture as well but she did an awesome job taking it.

Seriously could there be a happier bunch? There mama is an amazing and wonderful lady. These smiles are because of her love and patience with them every day. I don't know how she does it, she inspires me daily. I look forward to meeting the new addition soon. Hopefully this weekend. I love you guys. Thanks for letting me have fun with your cute kiddos.

Spaghetti Baby

Last week I made Sariah her favorite meal. She normally gets noodles plain once or twice a week but this week I thought I should put sauce on the noodles, it was a hit! I don't know why I didn't do this before...she loved it! Here are the pictures I captured as she ate her spaghetti.

She has an old tylenol dropper in her hands. It had been cleaned out so there was no medicine in it. She just enjoyed playing with it and wouldn't let it go while she ate.

No matter how tight I buckle her into her seat this happens at least once or twice before she is done eating. She loves to stand up in that thing.

Her smile is just so cute that it's hard to make her sit back down sometimes. Of course I make her sit down so she won't fall and crack open her head.

This is her "are you sure you want me to sit down?" face.

It looks like she is sticking her tongue out at me and I thought that was so funny. She was trying for a good minute to get the sauce off her face by licking it with her tongue. So funny.

Laughing

Such a mess my little squinty eyed baby.

She likes to squint when pictures are being taken, I don't know why she does it.

The bowl ended up in her lap as she tried to get the last bit of sauce and noodles.

"Mom I don't think there is any left, give me some more or else."

"Hee hee, I'm so cute and I know it!"

"Okay I am tired of the empty bowl and being messy, clean me up, now!"

Room Parent

Last year I volunteered in Justin's 1st grade class as an assistant room parent. It seemed pretty easy to me and thought I would be ambitious this year to volunteer and be the lead room parent for all of 2nd grade plus Justin's class. The year went pretty good but then came Teacher Appreciation Week and boy howdy I stepped in way over my head, most likely I won't be volunteering to do it again. This year I was able to wear Sariah in the Baby Bjorn while at the school. She won't be as containable in the years to come.
I realized why I didn't become a teacher this past week as I spent every lunch and recess at Justin's school monitoring 4 second grade classrooms. It's good to know that Justin is a normal 7 year old with lots of energy just like the rest of the 85 students in his grade level. I am grateful to have just one 7 year old at home to love. He is so loveable and so much easier to take care of then 85. Thank goodness it's not possible for me to have 85 children all at once.

Here are some pictures from the week I was there.

Lunch time, Justin is on the right with the red lunch box.

More lunch duty, Justin is in the back. You can see his face right about the 2 fingers that are being held up in a peace sign.

Organ Stop Pizza

While we were in AZ visiting, we were taken to this awesome pizza place that the kiddos loved...ok we adults loved it too. It's called Organ Stop Pizza and if you are ever in the Mesa area you should totally check it out. There is this big organ in the front of this huge room and they play music while you eat pizza. It's a fun atmosphere and the food is your typical pizza joint type of food. I think it would be fun to take a group date there to eat pizza and play games while the music played. I think I have some video that I might post of the guy playing the organ to convince you to go out and experience Organ Stop Pizza.

Laurel and Justin huggin. They are about 9 months apart in age and in the same grade. She thinks it's awesome that she is his aunt.

Sariah ate spaghetti while we were out....she likes the crust on pizza bread but not the rest of the stuff on there.

Pops and Sariah dancing to the music

Justin got a little crazy with all the excitement and pizza.

Spending time with the girlies

Whenever I go to AZ I always make sure to spend time with my cutie sisters, normally it's just the four of us. This time Sariah got to come along cause she is a girl and we made it a girlie trip to get slurpees and go take some fun pics at the mall.
Laurel and Menleigh got to ride the carousel

Brynn and Sariah become bestest buds on this trip.

Me and my cutie little sisters. I love them and I am so lucky to be their sister. They each have a uniqueness to them that makes them so loveable in their own special way.

Arizona Wedding

A few weekends ago we made a very quick trip to Arizona to go to a good friends wedding. We are so grateful that we took the time to see our friend marry her bestest friend. . It took us 19 hours to drive to Mesa from Texas. We left on a Thursday afternoon and got there in the early morning hours on Friday. Then we left Arizona on Monday morning at around 4 am and got home about 18 hours later. Oh the joy of driving in a car with 2 kiddos for a long period of time can not be explained, you must experience it first hand. But the trip was well worth it. There will be more posts to come about the rest of our trip in AZ but here are the pictures from the wedding.

Soaking in the rays of sunshine!

I love my sexy man!
