Petting the goats at the Zoo

While at the zoo in Fresno we went to the petting goat area. Sariah loves animals in general so she was one happy little gal as she ran around with her brush attacking the goats. Once she learned that she needed to be gentle with the goats they actually stood still and let her brush them.

Justin has such a calm spirit, he went right up to the animals and they just let him brush as long as he wanted to.

Here is cute little Thomas chasing a goat.

Cute Andrew and Justin climbed into the stroller for a quick ride...they were a little bit too big to be pulled.

Overwhelmed

I haven't posted for a little bit for a number of reasons. Normally I sit down at night and type up a whole bunch of posts and set the dates for those posts to come out one at a time. The last time I did that was right before Thanksgiving and it was like 10 posts worth of stuff. It's not that I don't have things to post about, I just am so tired at the end of the day I don't want to sit at the computer for hours.
I have been struggling lately with sleep since little Miss Sariah hasn't been sleeping thru the night. In the past 2 weeks she has fallen down the stairs which has caused problems with her sleeping. People might think I am odd for a number of reasons but I am a huge fan of Chiropractic care in helping little Miss. She got a chiropractic adjustment yesterday and slept thru the night for the first time in 2 weeks. I didn't have to sleep on the couch with her.
We have been having house problems. Being that we want to be in our house that we put an offer on 6 weeks ago and still aren't in it. Say extra prayers that we will close by the 29th of this month. It has been such a frustrating process. We are so grateful for the generosity of my Dad and his family who we have been invading their space for over 6 months. But we have totally worn out our welcome and need to give them their space back soon. Plus we need our space too.
These are all dumb excuses for not posting for the past little bit but I will post something soon. Still have pictures from our weekend in California and from the events that have happened since.
Just needed to vent for a second.

Are we Gorilla's?

Grandpa started the posing in front of the Gorilla to get the rest of the kiddos to do it. I love it, he was such a good sport and was so much fun to hang out with everyday while we were there. Cute little miss will do anything grandpa does.

Andrew will do anything that Justin does.

We went to the Fresno Zoo!

While in California for Thanksgiving we went to the Fresno Zoo with the whole gang. It was actually a lot of fun. The next few posts are going to be all about our zoo excursion.
Here is the whole gang in front of the elephants. A view from what Sariah and Thomas when in the stroller.

Watching the seal get fed and doing his tricks.

Such a cute little guy, he was blinded in one of his eyes.

Sexy ladies

Sariah and Grandpa found a squirrel to feed.

The Kangaroos.

I loved the beautiful black swan.

Have you ever seen a porcupine with a long tail?

A little bit of Texas....Armadillos

Capibarra, I don't know how to spell it? Anyone?

Playing with Grandpas Kitty Cat

Sariah loves animals. Loves them. Here she is with Grandpa and one of his many cats. Being soft and gentle with the kitty all by herself.

I am so glad that I captured this one of her giving the kitty loves.

Sad thing is that I don't want to have any cats or dogs in my house...she loves them and will most likely convince me by the time she is 12 that it will be a need. Hopefully she will grow out of her love of animals....what do you think?

After Thanksgiving Dinner Activities

Because we had such great weather for Thanksgiving Day we spent a majority of the time outside playing. Here are the kids playing soccer.Justin is such a good little soccer player. Got an action shot.

Right after the meal everyone snuggled in the living room watching movies or snoozing. You can see Grandpa all zonked out.

I thought this was a cute picture of Gracie curled up against her dad while he slept and she watched the movie.

The 3 sisters...such cutie gals!

After the movie we all went back outside for some more play time. Here Greg is giving Gracie a big push on the rope swing.

Sariah off discovering whatever she could get her hands on.

Gracie loved having Sariah around to mother. The 2 of them were so cute together.

Here the kids are helping me rake the leaves into a great big pile. Well actually Gracie is helping and Thomas and Sariah are playing.

All the Grandkids in the big pile of leaves.

Of course we had to have a shot of them throwing them in the air.

Some of my very favorite people.

Grandpa and Grandma just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary, amazing!

The 2 cuties discovering more of Grandpa's gardening.

I actually got him to smile at the camera for once. He really doesn't like me taking his picture but sometimes he will humor me...this is his humor me smile. I love this little guy!

Thanksgiving Dinner

One of the great things about having Thanksgiving in California is that the weather was beautiful. It was so great that we were able to eat outside in Grandpa's backyard. We had a good time eating some really good food. Here are all the kiddos minus Sariah and Thomas...the 2 little ones...eating all the yummy food. These cousins have a blast together.

Here is the adult table....Carla and I (the mom's) sat at the kid table.

Swinging with Grandpa

We were able to go to visit Grandma and Grandpa Peel this past weekend for Thanksgiving and we loved every moment we had with them. The first day we were there was beautiful and little miss had a blast playing outside on the farm. She loved walking around and exploring all that she could with whoever was available at the time.
Sariah got Grandpa to push her on the swing for a little bit and I was able to capture some pictures that are going to be priceless mementos.

Sariah loves to swing and she loves her Grandpa....or as she calls him Papa.

Such big smiles were on both of their faces! I loved it.

They were having so much fun together.

One cute little gal
