Inner eye colour matches my eyes half the time.....

What's your inner eye colour?
Blue eyes You're a relaxed, laid-back chick with a sweet, friendly nature. Your kindness puts people at ease and also wins you many friends, and you love to be surrounded by those who love you. You've also got a strong romantic streak, and when you fall in love, you fall deep. However, sometimes when the going gets tough, you can become a bit reclusive and try to stay out of important matters – generally not a good idea! You tend to rely on others a lot, and your mood hits rock bottom when they disappoint you. Not surprisingly though, when someone is relying on you, you go to all lengths to live up to their expectations, and because of that, you make a wonderful friend.

Shots and Smiles?

Okay so my cute little girl had her four month check up this past Monday. She had gotten a cold from her Daddy the day before and was running a low temperature, so I was sure they weren't going to give her shots when we got the Dr's office. I was wrong. They said oh it's just a low temp, she can still have her shots. Well let's just say that this made for one cranky little girl most of this past week. But you can not tell from these pictures that she had even had shots about 8 hours before.....why is that you ask?

Question:
What could make a 4 month old smile so big 8 hours after she had shots?
(besides the Tylenol)
Answer:
A wonderful Big Brother who plays with you!

He kept doing this over and over and she would giggle so hard! It was so cute!

Sariah truly loves her brother. They have sooo much fun together.

I love it that they enjoy each other, I hope it lasts through the years to come.

A big thank you to my awesome son Justin for doing all he could this week to help make Sariah smile. I seriously do not know what I would do without you in my life my little man. You are the greatest and I am so lucky to be your Mom!

Plano Balloon Festival

Okay, so I went a little crazy on pictures at the balloon festival. There were so many that I couldn't even post them all because I just didn't have the patience to wait for them all to upload. So I put my best ones on here. Let's just say I was excited because it was the kiddos first time seeing hot air balloons up close. We had a great time with Laine and Miquel. So glad that they let us know about it.

We got up and out of the house by 6am to see the balloons.

I thought the fog looked cool...I didn't have the right camera to get a good picture of it though.

Do you think he was excited?

Sariah is watching Justin in this picture.

The balloons starting to get filled.

All filled up and ready for lift off!

Up, up and away!

Bye balloons!

This balloon cracked me up, it said G-daddy on it....can you see it right above United Way?

James and I with Sariah

James, Miguel, and Laine
Congrats again to Miguel and Laine on your engagement!
Sariah and her Aunt Laine

Laine, James, Justin, and Sariah!

Me with the group

James won Justin the dog tags and sticker from a booth put together by the Marine Corp. He had to do 20 pull-ups for those little prizes. The onlookers were amazed by his ability.

There is a man in this plastic fire hydrant in 80 plus degrees...seriously....not the smartest! Then you add kids to the mix? Who thought of this? I think the man in the outfit had a death wish or something.

Sariah likes to spend time with her Daddy.

He makes her giggle.

The Weekend

So my camera was left in James' company car on Saturday so the only pics I have were ones I took with the phone. I will update the pics for the balloon festival once I get my camera out of the car. Until then I hope these will do...

Justin and Sariah in the Rocker...seriously he would hold her all day long if she didn't ever cry.

She loves her baths...after her bath she is all talk and smiles!

Balloon Festival was awesome! More pictures to come at a later post.

The Week in Pictures

Hold on to your hats because there are a lot of pictures this week and Thursday isn't even over yet. There is a high possibility that there will be more pictures coming but I had to make sure these ones got posted or who know what would of happened.

Justin has been begging me for new PJ's for the past week. He has been growing in height for the past few months and they are just getting to short. To get his point across I caught him doing this one morning. He is such a goof.
His best Steve Erkle impression.

How can this smile not make you giggle and run out to buy new PJ's? Oh I love the hair too!

Sariah's new development is drinking water from Mom's bottle. Her pediatrician said it was okay to give her some water if we had been outside alot during the summer months. So she has been drinking water since she was a month old...not a lot...and not every day...just when she has been outside for excessive amounts of time...anyway...for the past 3 weeks she has been watching me drink from my bottle and smacking her lips....so...this week we tried it and she loves it!

Sariah and I all ready to go pick up Justin from school.

Waking up from a nap in Mom's bed

She used to love the bounce so much

Now she tries to get out of it...needless to say she is only put in the bounce when I am close by and need my hands.

Justin has graduated to holding Sariah while standing. Mom is so paranoid that he will drop and break her leg that he doesn't get to do this too often and only started it this week. ( I have had 2 brothers who were dropped as infants by siblings who were walking and holding them, so the paranoia has a basis.)

We walk Justin to school every morning and Sariah loves to be outside.

Oh I could just kiss this face! It has been colder the past few mornings so she has a hat on this day. I caught this face with my new phone...oh it's so cute! I think it's my favorite picture this week.

I love the Baby Bjorn...Sariah and I go every where with it.

This week I made muffins for Justin to take with him on our walk to school. Do you think he likes them from the look of this picture?

Packing the backpack before we leave on our walk.

Chatting it up with Mom.

I was trying to get the smiles

But she kept on talking so no smiles but lots of fun faces.

I love that she is so content after her naps.

Happy Time
I am sure there will be another post this week with more pictures for all to enjoy. My cute kiddos keep me busy and happy. Sariah is waking from her nap right now so I got to get this posted before she realizes that I am not there picking her up....
