The Reception
Sariah and Justin were good sports to take a picture with the Bride and Groom when we arrived at the reception. Notice Justin's fake smile through out these pictures....We have been trying to get him out of this fake smile nonsense...I think it's a phase he is going through.
Some of my favorite boy's. I loved how Justin and Abe matched so well with their cute brown and blue polos. Brown and Blue were the colors for the wedding.

Me and my cute sisters. In a home with 12 kids and only 4 of them are girls you get tight with your sisters. I don't know what I would do with out these ladies! They are wonderful.
Seriously the reception line went on forever!!! They were in it for so long...they just had too many friends who wanted to congratulate them.
What do you do with 10 grandkids at a reception? You try and make them take a group picture. Mental note...do not make children take pictures after 8 o'clock at night. As you can tell from the picture below it is not very successful. 3 of the 10 are crying and only 3 are looking in the direction of the camera.
We left the reception at 830pm and this was the scene as we were leaving. Still a full house of people. It was a great place for the reception...such a beautiful yard down by the river.

Hugh Got Married!!!!
Last weekend we got the opportunity to drive up to Utah for my brother Hugh's wedding. It was a quick trip but well worth it! I am so glad we were able to go and celebrate with Melissa and Hugh on their big day!
They were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti temple.

My mom was a little crazy this weekend. She busted her ankle 2 days before the wedding.....so not funny. So she was in a wheelchair for most of the day.
Rachel got seriously ill at the temple during the ceremony and almost puked all over the place. She spent most of the day either laying down, sitting in a wheelchair, or doing her best not to puke. But I snagged a picture where she was smiling just a little.
Every single one of the Hinkson/Gifford clan children were able to be in Manti for Hugh's wedding! It was so awesome to have all of my siblings there.
It was such a beautiful day in Manti for them to get married. It was about 75 degrees and had a slight breeze. Such a great day.
Congrats again to Hugh and Melissa! We love you!

First day of school in AZ
Justin got to go to school this week! He was so excited to make new friends. I must admit that every year I have dropped him off at school those first few minutes I have anxiety and nerves galore about how his day is going to go and how much Sariah and I are going to miss him. But the nerves subside and the anxiety relaxes as I come home to a quiet house with just Sariah and no other kids! We are so excited when it's time for him to come home though. Sariah misses her favorite playmate.
We had a little photo shoot before school. Handsome little man.

I tried to get them to jump all at the same time and this is what I got....I took a whole bunch of them doing this and I love the faces in this one.
Justin was so done with the pictures by this time but I snuck one last picture before he got out of the car to go on his new adventure of 3rd grade.
